Architectural Stone Products has always adhered to the highest standards in production methods. Our mold and pattern making ability is an important step in producing high quality castings. Our casting procedure includes using the best polyurethane rubber, High Density Overlay (HDO) plywood, and laminate coatings available on the market today.
If an impression is needed of a part that is still on the structure, we have a variety of methods to use (3-D scanning, sprayable rubbers, or pressable molding rubbers) to render the exact detail of the original piece. Most are then backed with a fiber reinforced hard shell, “mother mold”.
We follow the Cast Stone Institutes Standard Specification 04-72-00-04, for production standards. This insures that we are producing products that always meet or exceed the requirements set by the architects and engineers involved with the projects we are producing castings for.
